Simple Watch Instrument Tuner · Effective September 28, 2026
Short version: the app collects no data. Sound from the microphone is analyzed on your watch to find the pitch, and it's never recorded, stored or sent anywhere.
Microphone
The app asks for microphone access so it can hear the note you play. Audio is processed in real time on your Apple Watch to measure pitch, then discarded. It is not recorded, saved to storage or transmitted over any network.
Data we collect
None. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs. It doesn't use location, contacts, health data or any identifiers.
Settings
Your two settings (reference pitch and sharps or flats) are saved only on your watch so they're there next time you open the app.
This website
This policy covers the app. The web page you're reading uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. That happens only on the website, never in the app.
Children
The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
